Rosemary LeVeaux is an actress who followed her heart to a small town out west circa early 1900s. She tends to be the definition of ‘Extra.’ Being that this is a Hallmark show they have a very romanticized view of the old west and rarely touch on the societal issues of the day and region, especially with the genocide and displacement of Indigenous peoples. Rosemary is written very progressively in the show and therefore will be able to interact with modern people.
